This add-on introduces a new operator to the Make Links menu, accessed via the Ctrl+L shortcut. It enables users to link object data, converting selected objects into instances of the active object, without altering their existing local transforms. This preserves the original scale, rotation, and location of the objects, even if their transforms were previously applied. The tool is designed to help optimize scenes by easily converting duplicated meshes into memory-efficient instances while maintaining their exact placement in the 3D viewport.
