Lensynth provides a collection of Open Shading Language (OSL) profiles designed to work with the custom camera feature introduced in Blender 4.5. It enables physical lens simulations that replicate real-world optical characteristics, including bokeh, vignetting, soft focus, and barrel distortion. Precise depth of field and focus calculations require building your scene to real-world scale.

The tool includes an extensive library of adjustable prime lens profiles based on specific models from manufacturers like Canon, Nikon, Zeiss, Leica, and Fujifilm. Note that rendering with these custom OSL cameras requires using either the CPU or the OptiX GPU backend.
