Alt Tab Camera is an add-on that introduces a physical camera system with real-time viewport effects to Blender. It unifies Blender's scattered camera settings into a single interface while adding tools for lens dirt, custom bokeh, and depth of field. Because the effects run directly in the 3D viewport, users can preview flares and bokeh shapes interactively without needing to render and rely on the compositor.

The toolset includes a library of 135 custom bokeh images and various dirt maps that react dynamically to scene lighting. The viewport interface features quick toggles for composition guides, safe area markers, camera limits, and false color mode integration. Additionally, a smart focal length feature allows for the simultaneous adjustment of the camera's focal length, bokeh size, and dirt scale in a single operation.
