Grease Pencil Onion Peel

Grease Pencil Onion Peel replaces the native Blender onion skinning system with a more robust set of tools specifically designed for 2D animators. It generates individual ghost images, or 'peels', for active Grease Pencil objects, allowing for precise control over the display of adjacent frames.

The add-on introduces the ability to independently move, rotate, scale, and mirror individual peels using standard Blender transformation shortcuts. Users can configure up to 32 peels, adjusting visibility and opacity individually or applying a linear opacity fade across the entire sequence. Additional features include a World Space mode to maintain correct positioning for animated objects, an X-ray toggle for visibility through scene clutter, and custom file-opening color preferences. Note that this tool is designed exclusively for use within the camera view.
