Waypoint is an animation toolkit designed for Grease Pencil v3. It introduces bidirectional cursor synchronization, allowing users to move Grease Pencil objects and maintain synchronized object keyframes while drawing. The addon features customizable world-space onion skins with animatable properties for stroke and fill opacity, keyframe filtering, and layer isolation.

Additional features include editable motion paths displayed directly in the viewport, complete with clickable frame labels and timing ticks for spacing adjustments. A one-click billboard effect keeps strokes facing the camera without manual constraints. A suite of editing operators is included to help clean up and reposition rogue strokes. Users can also pin specific frames as persistent overlays, functioning as a digital light table to maintain model consistency.
