Genshin Impact Character Shader

This shader provides a comprehensive node group designed to recreate the anime-style toon rendering seen in Genshin Impact within Blender. It functions in both EEVEE and Cycles, offering detailed control over material properties specifically tailored for stylized 3D art, anime characters, and VTuber avatars.

The system features customizable artificial subsurface scattering for skin tones, dynamic rim lighting with adjustable intensity and scale, specular highlights, and an integrated metallic matcap for reflective surfaces. It fully supports texture mapping, including alpha transparency, and includes setups for facial lighting maps to control anime-style facial shadowing.

The package includes the main shader node group, a dedicated rim light compositor node group, an automatic lighting driver script, and an example setup for facial lighting maps. Users can also bake the resulting shading into textures using Cycles, making it suitable for preparing game-ready assets. An illustrated 19-page manual is provided to guide users through the setup and optimization process.
