The Engine Generator is a procedural system built with Geometry Nodes that creates dynamic, animated 4-stroke engines. It features over 70 parameters to customize components like the crankshaft, rods, pistons, valves, and cams, which animate automatically based on user input. Users can adjust detailed mechanical specifications including bore, stroke, bank angle, RPM, firing order, and cam timing.
The setup includes rendering options such as volumetric stroke visualization and a semi-transparent mode. Additional features provide real-time mechanical feedback, including a tachometer, displacement calculations, piston-valve contact indicators, and custom materials for each engine component.
