Offroad Rig Generator

Offroad Rig Generator is a Geometry Nodes system designed to animate vehicles driving over uneven terrain. Users can rig a car by placing a flat curve above a defined collection of collision objects, allowing the setup to automatically conform the vehicle's position to the ground surface. It includes features for simulating vehicle dynamics without actual physics computations, such as automated leaning in corners, procedural wiggle noise, and adjustments for body pitch during acceleration or braking.

The setup supports multiple tire sets with individual rotation adjustments and includes a drift mode with customizable intensity. A Delay Bump function fakes post-bump suspension settle, which performs best on smoother collision meshes. Due to its procedural nature, the rig is best used with simplified proxy collision objects and may struggle with extreme terrain features like steep drops, jumps, or highly dense collision geometry.
