Cycles Stylized Materials

This product provides a set of node groups designed to produce stylized digital painting and cell-shaded looks within the Cycles render engine. The collection features three primary toon shaders tailored for different surfaces.

The Advanced Toon shader handles general materials like skin and cloth, utilizing a custom transition zone between light and shadow that simulates dirty brush strokes or crosshatch patterns. The Toon Hair shader is specifically optimized for ribbon-style curve segments. The Toon Iris shader features an integrated eye texture generator with procedural controls for pupil stretching, edge darkening, and hue shifts.

Additional tools include a camera-facing node group for aligning 2D background elements like billboard trees and clouds. The package comes with a demonstrative full-body character and a custom 8-point light rig configured to enhance the cel-shaded appearance when combined with zero diffuse bounces.
