Crystal Kit provides a comprehensive Geometry Nodes setup for generating procedural crystal growth on your 3D assets. The system automates the natural distribution of crystals and integrates shader controls directly into the node group properties, allowing you to modify color, lightness, and roughness without opening the shader editor.
It includes 70 base crystal meshes spanning seven mineral geometry families, such as trigonal quartz, hexagonal tourmaline, cubic pyrite, and spherical botryoidal shapes. When paired with the seven included base material types, these can be mixed into dozens of combinations directly from the modifiers panel. The scattering system offers control over positioning, island formation, random rotation, and sizing.
For advanced use cases, the generation can be controlled via curve-based proximity painting to create manual or automated growth animations. The included materials are optimized for the Cycles engine and utilize high-resolution textures up to 8K.
