This course details the complete process of producing a short animated film featuring a cartoony, stylized character. The curriculum begins with concept sketching before moving into Blender for 3D production. Key topics include sculpting the character's face, performing animation-ready retopology, and building a flexible face and body rig using bendy bones.
Beyond character creation, the training covers keyframe animation, lip-syncing procedures, simple environment modeling, material creation, lighting, and final render compositing. It targets beginner to intermediate users, focusing particularly on providing an accessible introduction to custom character rigging. The package includes the final rig and animation project files under a CC-0 license.
