Cake Particles is a tool that converts standard Blender particle simulations into individual objects with baked animation keyframes. Bypassing procedural generation, it allows users to export complex particle-based effects like fluids and explosions to external platforms or formats like FBX. The baked items are automatically organized into a new collection.
The tool supports baking multiple instanced meshes, animated Grease Pencil elements, and metaballs. Users can define a specific bake interval to only place keyframes on every Nth frame, providing control over animation density. After baking, a dedicated panel allows for further adjustment of the generated frames. The interface is located in the Object Properties tab rather than the standard side panel.
