This tutorial series covers the complete process of creating a sci-fi landing gear in Blender. Over the course of approximately one hour, the instruction moves quickly through the various stages of production. Some prior knowledge of Blender is required.
The course begins with blocking out the initial shape of the landing gear. Subsequent sections cover hard surface modeling techniques, creating PBR shaders for texturing, and rigging the mechanical components. The rigging section includes instruction on managing vertex groups. The completed Blender file is included with the course.
