Blender for Concept Art

This course covers modeling and presenting product, environment, and sci-fi designs. Beginning with basic polygon modeling, the curriculum progresses through design functionality and workflow techniques. Projects include 3D concepts like a retro NES controller, a Braun HL70 desk fan, a modular sci-fi corridor, a six-legged robot, and a cargo spaceship.

The tutorials cover modeling workflows using modifiers, subdivision surfaces, and booleans. It also demonstrates material creation, UV layout for decals, and simple camera animation for presentations. Rendering instruction includes lighting setups and mood variations using both the Cycles and EEVEE render engines. Each project includes step-by-step video files, corresponding scene files to follow along, textures, and reference images.
