A Geometry Nodes setup that generates non-physically accurate fake caustic effects in Blender. Designed primarily for the Eevee render engine, the project file allows you to swap the default monkey mesh with custom geometry while in Edit Mode. Users can adjust the caustic quality and overall brightness by modifying the mesh subdivision levels and tweaking a targeted light shader node. The node setup exposes explicit controls for chromatic dispersion, lighting color, and both interior and exterior Index of Refraction (IOR) values. It relies on the Face Area node introduced in Blender 3.1.
