Bevel For Eevee provides a node for the Shader Editor that generates fake edge bevels at render time. It functions similarly to Blender's native Bevel node, which is restricted to Cycles, by manipulating surface normals. This creates the illusion of smooth edges without requiring geometry modification or modifiers.
The tool is installed as an add-on and adds the custom node to the Group menu in the Shader Editor. It connects directly to the Normal input of any BSDF shader. The node can be placed in sequence with other normal-modifying nodes, such as bump maps. In older versions of Blender, it requires Ambient Occlusion to be enabled in the render properties, though newer versions handle this automatically.
