Better Cutter is a mesh cutting add-on for Blender that consolidates planar, shape-based, and curve-driven cutting tools into a single panel. It allows users to cut geometry using planar intersections or custom curve shapes, supporting Bezier, NURBS, and Poly curves for custom silhouettes and complex panel lines.

The tool features multiple operational modes, including a "Cut Only" mode that adds edge loops without separating geometry (even on ngons), and a "Split" mode that separates the mesh into distinct objects. Additional shape operations include cut-through, cookie cut, and keep inside behaviors. Cuts can be previewed non-destructively with live viewport updates, or switched to manual updates to preserve performance on heavy scenes. The workflow allows users to adjust cuts freely, cancel to restore the original mesh, or finalize to permanently commit the separation.
