Cutz Tools

Cutz Tools is a hard-surface modeling extension that provides a streamlined process for creating surface cuts and bevels. The tool operates primarily within Edit Mode and utilizes Blender's modifier stack to ensure that structural operations remain non-destructive, preserving the underlying mesh topology for continuous adjustments.

The toolkit projects an interactive heads-up display overlay upon the 3D viewport, allowing adjustments to parameters such as cut width, bevel thickness, and profile offsets without navigating to the properties editor. It integrates support for multiple independent bevel weight layers, various structural profiles including Sharp, Patch, and Arc styles, and per-segment gap width control. Users can designate sharp corner overrides to resolve rounded intersections into strict right angles, and execute automatic splitting commands to separate cut geometric regions into independent mesh objects for subsequent material assignment.
