Bisectplus

Bisectplus is a mesh editing add-on that enhances Blender's native bisect capability. Instead of relying on a visual gizmo, it allows you to perform exact cuts by designating a separate plane object as a cutting guide using an eyedropper tool. The interface ensures the correct target object is selected before applying the operation.

The tool provides options to limit the cut to a specific selection or apply it across the entire mesh. It includes standard destructive bisect features such as filling the cut and clearing the inner or outer geometry, alongside an axis threshold setting for precise margin control.

After an operation, the add-on automatically generates up to three vertex groups representing the bisection loop and the resulting front and back portions of the mesh. It can also be used non-destructively to organize vertices into these front and back groups without actually making a cut.
