This add-on generates up to 3,750 stars in the Blender viewport using scientific CSV data. It provides a sidebar panel to filter stars based on their distance from Earth, spectral class, and apparent magnitude. Stars can be positioned using galactic or celestial coordinates, and their movement over time can be animated based on proper motion and radial velocity.
The tool includes a night sky simulation mode that projects stars onto a sphere, mapping individual apparent magnitude to emission strength. Users can rotate the generated map based on time, date, and geographic position to match real-world observations. Additional features include viewport name displays, automatic star constellation connections, and custom center point shifting.
