SnowFX is a Blender add-on for generating and painting snow onto 3D objects. It provides an automated drop function for quickly adding snow coverage to the top surfaces of meshes. Alternatively, users can use the Snow Painter tool to manually paint and melt snow for more art direction.

The tool includes a Snow Editor for modifying the shape and height of the snow after it has been applied. It supports adding multiple snow layers and combining them during the painting process. The add-on is accessed through a dedicated panel in the tool shelf.
