SkyBox provides tools to create and animate procedural environments with realistic lighting, fog, clouds, and rainbows. The addon includes a custom panel for controlling the world shader, allowing users to manage day/night cycles, seasons, sky tone, and twinkling stars.

The system includes several presets: Earth, Mars, Moon, Venus, Volcanos, Synthwave, and Minecraft. Procedural elements like stars, earth, sun, and moon are optimized for faster rendering and lower VRAM usage. The addon also features a one-click fog render-layer toggle and glare functions that are calculated in the compositor after rendering.
