Simple Layouts allows you to save and manage object transforms, visibility states, 3D views, and Outliner toggles within your Blender scenes. It enables the creation of distinct layouts for different purposes, such as switching between modeling configurations and 3D printing preparation. Each layout can store the location, rotation, scale, and visibility for specific objects and collections, as well as an assigned 3D viewport or camera view.

The addon includes an Applied Visual Geometry function, which generates a flattened mesh copy of a layout with all modifiers applied, facilitating non-destructive editing workflows. It features a pie menu, precise data filtering capabilities, automatic background JSON backups, and integration with Shot Manager.
