Seams Around Selection is a workflow tool designed to accelerate the UV unwrapping process for both organic and hard-surface models. It operates by automatically clearing any existing seams from a selected group of faces and generating new seams exclusively along the boundary of that selection. Additionally, the tool provides functionality to merge existing UV islands, which helps organize fragmented or automatic unwraps. The operator integrates directly into the standard UV menu within Edit mode without adding external panels, making it straightforward to assign to a custom shortcut or the Quick Favorites menu.
