Quad Swords

Quad Swords is a modeling tool that cuts geometry into small grid-like sections along the X, Y, and Z axes. It utilizes Blender's native Knife Projection to slice the mesh. The resulting grid structure makes it easier to deform shapes using Proportional Editing or to add resolution to n-gon heavy models prior to subdivision, though the resulting topology is not strictly composed of pure quads.

To accommodate specific workflows, the cuts can be applied to the entire mesh or limited to selected faces only. All settings, including the density of the grid, are adjustable from the operator panel after execution in Edit Mode.
