Procedural Rope

Procedural Rope is a geometry nodes system that generates realistic rope structures from curve objects. It creates a tubular mesh along spline paths and applies surface displacement and fuzz to simulate natural rope fibers. The tool attempts to connect multiple curve segments, simplifying the setup process.

The system includes functionality to conform the generated rope to the surface of a specified object. To use it, artists append the provided node tree into their scene, apply the geometry nodes modifier to a curve, assign a target surface object, and adjust the provided settings.
