Printed Material

Printed Material is a procedural shader that simulates the aesthetic of printed media on 3D objects. It allows users to replicate various graphical styles, including vintage posters, old newspaper prints, and comic book illustrations, acting as a non-photorealistic rendering tool.

The node group exposes ten customizable parameters to fine-tune the final look. Users have direct control over options like a CMYK color palette, background colors, and the intensity of print imperfections. The material includes multiple pattern types, smoothness adjustments, and support for animated motion. Additionally, it accurately reacts to scene lighting colors and can be layered with other shaders in the node editor.
