It utilizes a pseudo-parametric system that allows users to adjust gear parameters dynamically after generation. The tool supports a comprehensive array of specific gear types, including spur, helical, herringbone, rack, internal, bevel, worm, GT2 belt, and crown gears.

Beyond basic geometry generation, the add-on includes a procedural rigging system to create instance-based, animated gear chains. It provides advanced engineering detailing options such as center extrusions, customizable bores, set screws, tooth crowning, face chamfering, and subdivision-ready pre-creased edges. Users can also configure global scaling and save gear profiles through a thumbnail-based preset system.
