Powerline is a pipeline toolset for Blender designed to streamline content creation, file management, and animation workflows. It includes a file manager for tracking workfiles, handling incremental saves, and managing segment exports or imports.
For animation, the add-on provides a connection manager tailored for motion capture retargeting and driving deformation rigs. An action coding system allows users to connect complex deformations to single transformation channels, facilitating advanced rigging workflows such as interfacing with the Unreal Engine MetaHuman faceboard or adding ARKit blendshapes.
Additionally, the toolset features Taskforger, an automation system for batch-generating assets like viewport render turntables across different shading modes. This system syncs with the file manager to automatically update outputs when new incremental saves are detected. The pipeline also supports proxy switching for scene optimization, allowing animators to toggle between high and low-resolution rigs.
