Post FX extends Blender's compositor with over 40 adjustment, effect, and filter nodes, introducing a layer-based system and pie menu for compositing workflows. The add-on enables node-free setup of compositing trees by automatically placing and connecting nodes.

The toolset features a Color Calibration node for broad color and saturation adjustments, alongside specific effects like a dynamic Flare Builder. The node graphs established by the add-on are color-coded and utilize normalized value ranges to maintain consistency across the setup.

The add-on automates the alignment of nodes to prevent overlapping and offers optimization parameters designed for compositing performance. Access is provided through a toolbar in the Image Editor and Viewport, as well as a search menu in the Compositor. Operations include rapid customization of shortcuts and instant image exports of the render output.
