Painterlify is an add-on that introduces a paint overlay effect to Blender's compositing node editor. It enables users to apply stylized painterly effects to rendered images directly within the post-processing pipeline. The tool includes adjustable parameters for the overlay, allowing control over the smoothing neighborhood size through the paint size setting, as well as an option to soften and blur the image.

Additional color correction controls are built into the effect, providing adjustments for hue, saturation, and exposure. Users can also manipulate the placement of the overlay using horizontal and vertical offsets, alongside rotation angles, to fine-tune the final stylized appearance of the render.
