Lightning Toolsuite

Lightning Toolsuite is a collection of Geometry Nodes setups designed to generate and animate various electrical effects. The system is split into distinct generators tailored for different behaviors, including surface-crawling auras, directed bolts with optional attraction logic, contact arcs bouncing between specific geometry collections, and vertical environmental strikes. It additionally provides a drawn setup for converting standard curves and splines into precise lightning paths.

The workflow involves appending the required node groups as modifiers and assigning emitter or target collections to define the bolt paths. A secondary spark generator can be layered into the modifier stack to produce additional collision-triggered details. Finally, a dedicated finalizer modifier converts the procedural lines into renderable mesh or plane geometry, applying an included material designed for the resulting data.
