Inward Extrude is a Blender modeling add-on that enables destructive boolean cuts into mesh objects directly in edit mode. By selecting one or multiple faces, users can extrude the selection inward to cut into the surrounding geometry. The tool generates a temporary cutter object slightly larger than the selected faces to perform the boolean operation. It can be executed via a dedicated keyboard shortcut or the Extrude Menu. Because of the boolean approach, operators may occasionally need to merge double vertices manually as a cleanup step.
