Hologrphx

Hologrphx is a custom shader for Blender designed to simulate thin-film interference and stylized iridescent effects. It provides artistic control over the iridescent appearance, making it useful for stylized renders and materials that require a colorful, shifting surface reflection.

The shader includes several customizable options. Users can invert the visibility mask to control whether the iridescent effect appears on extreme angles or straight-on surfaces. A vibrance override setting allows the iridescence to use its own value independently of the base color, which can be manipulated to create simulated subsurface scattering effects. Distortion can be applied directly to the iridescent calculation without altering the material's underlying normals, which is particularly useful for creating bubble materials. Additionally, the shader supports texture inputs for glitter and distortion, allowing users to apply custom procedural or rasterized textures instead of being limited to a default Voronoi pattern.
