Thin Film & Advanced Glass

This shader pack provides three custom node groups designed for Cycles and EEVEE. The thin film node generates physically accurate interference colors based on layer thickness and index of refraction, featuring a disturbance control useful for simulating fluid surfaces like soap bubbles or oil slicks.

The thin film clearcoat node allows users to easily add an interference layer to existing materials, including controls for coating roughness and normal map inputs. The advanced glass shader offers extended optical controls, featuring independent reflection and transmission colors, depth-based absorption, dispersion, volumetric scattering, fake shadows, and support for thin-walled geometry.
