A fully animated heat distortion material designed for both Cycles and EEVEE rendering engines. The shader is intended to be applied to a 2D plane to simulate atmospheric heat shimmer, engine exhaust, or mirage effects. The material node setup includes exposed parameters allowing users to adjust the distortion behavior to fit their scene requirements. When rendering in EEVEE, Screen Space Reflections and Refractions must be enabled in the render properties for the effect to function correctly.
