Final LUT is an add-on that brings standard Look-Up Table (LUT) integration directly into the Blender compositor. It allows users to apply, preview, and adjust color grading in real-time within the 3D viewport, avoiding the need for external post-processing software. The tool maps RGB components to coordinates within a LUT map, currently utilizing trilinear interpolation to execute the color conversion.
Users can import standard .cube files generated by software like DaVinci Resolve or Premiere, storing them in a dedicated library. This library management system allows for sorting and filtering by name, favorites, and predefined attributes such as gamma, color, key, and style. The add-on also supports generating custom thumbnails directly from current renders or EEVEE viewport captures.
The tool features quick controls accessible from the 3D viewport, including a LUT factor slider to adjust the effect intensity and a color space selector supporting AgX Base sRGB, Filmic sRGB, and standard sRGB. Additional functionalities include dithering, a split view for comparisons, and compatibility with custom OCIO setups. The package comes with over 60 ready-to-use .cube files to facilitate immediate color grading.
