Fill Color is an add-on that allows users to apply colors directly to a texture map based on selected faces. By selecting geometry in Edit Mode, the tool fills the corresponding UV coordinates with a chosen color, eliminating the need to assign separate materials to different faces and bake them later.
The tool automatically detects existing materials and connected image textures, or generates new ones if none are found. It includes a margin setting to bleed colors over UV island borders to prevent seams. Users can select colors via a built-in picker or sync the tool with Blender's active Texture Paint brush color palette to utilize existing swatches.
