EmotionCap is a facial motion capture tool that allows users to record facial performances in real-time using a standard webcam. The add-on uses Google MediaPipe to track facial movements and translates them into animation data directly within Blender.

The tool outputs animation data using the ARKit blendshape standard, allowing it to interface with compatible character rigs. Recorded facial performances can be saved as keyframes or actions for further editing and integration into existing animation and rendering workflows.
