A custom Uber BSDF node group designed to accurately render Destiny 2 game assets within Blender. It converts the game's base texture outputs into a specialized node setup that offers comprehensive artistic control, emulating rendering workflows found in standard production engines. The shader supports materials for Destiny 1 armor sets as well as Destiny 2 weapons, ships, sparrows, and Ghost shells, fully incorporating the game's complex iridescence system.
The system includes built-in controls for microroughness, zone-based adjustments for roughness and normal maps, proper metallic object handling, and granular scratch detailing. Additionally, the package provides specific visual effects shaders for rain and supercharge states. While tailored for Destiny asset conversions, the node can also function as a general replacement for Blender's default Principled BSDF on standard 3D models.
