Windy Armature

Windy Armature is an animation tool that applies procedural wind effects directly to armature bones, bypassing the need for complex physics simulations. It generates artistic, mathematical movement for bone chains, making it suitable for animating foliage, flowers, and creature appendages like wings.

The tool provides real-time control over various wind parameters, including strength, speed, direction, randomness, and scale. Users can apply these effects to specific bone chains individually to build up complex overlapping actions, such as isolating a tree trunk from its branches. The resulting procedural animation can be baked into standard keyframes using visual keying for export or rendering.
