Volumetric Light & Smoke Effects

This asset pack provides node-based setups for faking volumetric lighting and smoke effects using 2D planes instead of resource-heavy volume domains. By relying on material logic rather than true volumetrics, it drastically reduces render times and improves viewport performance. Designed primarily for Eevee, the assets are also fully compatible with Cycles.

The collection includes 19 customizable light presets alongside adjustable smoke, dust, and fog effects. The smoke setups can be directed along custom paths to simulate elements like car exhaust or localized fires, with control over emission intervals and sizes. It also includes basic collision functionality, allowing the faked smoke to react and change shape when intersecting with objects in the scene.
