This addon provides automated and manual tools for managing temporary .blend files directly within Blender. It allows users to set customizable intervals for periodic cleanup or trigger deletion automatically whenever a project is saved. Users can also execute a manual cleanup with a single click from the 3D Viewport sidebar. It includes an option to either permanently delete the files or move them to the system trash, though the latter requires the send2trash Python package.
