Blender Lighting & Compositing for Beginners is a training course that covers lighting techniques and compositing workflows in Blender. The curriculum explores foundational concepts through advanced compositing setups, utilizing both the Cycles and EEVEE rendering engines.
The course covers various lighting approaches, including the use of HDRI maps, sky textures, emission materials, and volumetric god rays. Students learn specific setups such as three-point lighting and studio arrangements. Stylized lighting techniques, including toon shading, are also addressed alongside darker, thematic lighting setups.
The training includes a resource pack with 11 prepared scene files for practice. These cover different environments and themes, such as a desert scene, a stylized beehive, a spooky cemetery, and a car model studio setup. Each scene includes the models and is designed for students to complete lighting and compositing mini projects.
