Isolate Select alters the default local view behavior in Blender to function more like the isolate select tools found in Maya or 3ds Max. It allows users to repeatedly enter local view mode without modifying the actual display states of objects in the outliner.
The tool provides several options to maintain visibility of essential scene elements while isolating specific components. Users can choose to manually keep lights, reference images via image empties, and contents of specific collections visible during isolation. In mesh edit mode, an additional toggle actively hides unselected geometry, ensuring only completely selected parts remain visible for focused editing.
