Audio2Blender

Audio2Blender is an extension that samples live audio sources in real time and feeds the data directly into Geometry Nodes. Users can sample hardware inputs like microphones or external audio interfaces to generate float values for driving audio-reactive animations, simulations, and real-time visuals within the Blender viewport.

The tool provides two sampling modes. Volume mode outputs a single float value based on overall amplitude, while FFT mode generates an array of values corresponding to a specified number of frequency bands, with both linear and logarithmic options available. The included Starter Pack provides pre-built geometry node assets to simplify the process of triggering and applying these audio values. The extension processes audio exclusively for real-time viewport interaction and does not support data recording, offline rendering, multi-channel input, or isolating specific instrument tracks.
