This product consists of a Geometry Nodes modifier setup for animating bats along curve objects in Blender. It allows users to control the flight path by editing or extruding curve handles, with the bats automatically rotating to follow the curve's direction.
The system includes two different node arrangements: one for controlling the exact start and end timing of the flight, and another for generating a continuous, never-ending stream of bats that appear and disappear at the curve's endpoints. Users can adjust settings from the modifier panel, including bat count, size, flight speed, offset distance from the curve, and randomized movement.
The package also includes eight low-poly bat models with image textures. These models feature pre-animated wing movements driven by shape keys, keeping the file lightweight enough to support large swarms. The setup is compatible with both the Cycles and EEVEE render engines.
