Animation Space Switcher

The Animation Space Switcher add-on provides control over Armature Pose Bone animation regardless of the rigging hierarchy. It enables switching between local and global space for selected pose bones by temporarily baking their transforms to Empties via constraints.

The tool adds a dedicated panel to the 3D Viewport's N-panel under the Animation tab, which becomes active when in Pose Mode. Users can specify which animation channels to bake and set custom frame ranges or use the scene defaults. The workflow involves baking the bone transforms to Empties, visually toggling the attachment to make adjustments, and finally baking the corrected animation back to the bones. Users have options to overwrite the existing action or create a new one, and the add-on includes cleanup operations to remove temporary Empties, actions, and constraints after baking.
