This setup provides four alternative decimation methods built with Geometry Nodes. These methods are designed to preserve areas of high density or curvature that Blender's native Decimate modifier may struggle with. The system allows you to reduce mesh density based on max face angle, minimum face area, vertex distance, or a combination of angle and distance, with adjustable merge strength for the final output. The package includes two project files: one using standard Switch nodes and another utilizing the newer Menu Switch nodes introduced in Blender 4.1.
