Shot Manager

Shot Manager is a pipeline tool designed for handling complex render setups and camera management within a single Blender file. It allows users to save specific frame ranges, active cameras, view layers, and output paths per shot. Because it does not rely on timeline camera markers, the system supports both sequential timeline divisions and overlapping multi-camera setups for design iteration or complex pass generation.

The tool includes an extensive suite of batch processing features, supporting local batch rendering and exports (USD, FBX, OBJ, Alembic) as well as integrations with Deadline, B-Renderon, and Flamenco. It also introduces custom compositor nodes to handle dynamic file outputs, automatic directory construction, and render layer switching based on the active shot. An included Animation Retimer tool helps adjust keyframes and NLA data alongside shot timing changes.
